Job Description

Join a global leader in materials testing, inspection, and certification services that supports some of the world's most innovative industries, including aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and manufacturing! The Laboratory Technician I is responsible for performing routine and non-routine testing in a laboratory environment while ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality results under direct supervision. This role supports daily laboratory operations and requires adherence to established safety guidelines, company policies, and quality standards.

$19-$20/hr
Shift:
M-F 8am-5pm, weekends as needed. Key Responsibilities Prepare and organize material specimens for laboratory testing Perform testing in accordance with customer specifications and standard operating procedures Accurately collect, document, and maintain test data and records Assist with the construction, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory fixtures and equipment Operate under the guidance of senior laboratory staff and department leadership Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards, GMP practices, and company procedures Support general laboratory organization and cleanliness Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or vocational training in a scientific or technical field preferred 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or testing-related environment Basic understanding of laboratory testing methods and procedures Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with computers and data entry systems Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts is a plus Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and follow detailed instructions Preferred Skills Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and regulated environments Strong communication and documentation skills Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn laboratory equipment operation and maintenance This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
