Job Description This role involves operating a sit-down forklift and performing a variety of general labor and material handling tasks in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment. You support daily operations by safely moving, loading, and unloading materials, managing inventory, and using RF scanners to complete picking and shipping activities. Responsibilities Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the facility. Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and storage locations using a forklift and other material handling equipment. Perform general labor tasks to support production and warehouse operations as needed. Handle materials manually, including lifting, moving, and organizing products in designated areas. Use RF scanners to pick, scan, and track inventory and orders accurately. Assist with inventory control by counting, organizing, and recording stock levels. Support production activities by staging materials, supplying production lines, and removing finished goods. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work collaboratively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to complete daily tasks and meet operational goals. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site role with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m . You work primarily in a warehouse and production setting that can be warm or hot, and you are on your feet and moving throughout the day. The role involves frequent use of sit-down forklifts, RF scanners, and standard material handling equipment. You can expect a physically active environment where safety, organization, and teamwork are essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Castle, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
