LABORER FOR RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION

Job Summary Laborer needed for leading Northwest Indiana residential home builder. Individual must be physically capable to do manual labor, see the entire scope of work, possess a common sense approach to work efficiently and with consideration for the entire construction team, take instructions well and also work independently, ask questions and think on their feet. Pay $18.00+ per hour is based on experience & qualifications.

Job Description:

Perform all labor on as needed basis, from jobsite to jobsite and from subdivision to subdivision; including, but not limited to, lifting, moving, digging, shoveling, sweeping, power washing, vacuuming, driving, and walking. Lay protective covering on floors as needed. Continually clean up jobsite throughout construction of new residential homes. Layout out and remove ground heater during winter month for foundation pouring and curing. Move various types of extra materials from jobsite to jobsite or from jobsite to storage. Remove and discard various types of scrap materials from jobsite into dumpsters. Move and load furniture to and from model homes and/or storage facility. Make deliveries and pick up materials as needed. Labor support to project manager on as needed basis.

Requirements:

Previously labor experience in residential construction is desired. Valid Driver's License and clear driving record. High School Diploma or equivalent.
