Lamination Extruder Trainee Wage:
$17.00/hourShift:

6:45am- 3:00pm (Monday

Lamination Extruder Trainee Responsibilities:
- Load material, cut to size, sand as needed, attach, and securely package decorative wooden profiles used over vinyl windows, ensuring quality standards are met
- Set up and operate machine equipment safely and accurately
- Identify proper material requirements for producing finished product
- Refer to work instructions for mitering material for proper cut lengths
- Operate saw
- Perform quality checks while maintaining strict tolerances
- Change out fixtures in a timely manner to maintain steady production
- Identify defects, ways to prevent defects from occurring, ensuring defects do not go to the customer
- Perform heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly, demonstrating strength and endurance
- Stand for extended periods (8-10 hours), maintaining focus and productivity throughout your shift
- Execute tasks that involve twisting, bending, reaching overhead, and other physical movements required for assembly
- Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring color accuracy and high-quality finishes
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing steel-toe boots, and uphold a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members across all production functions, participating in training and continuous improvement efforts Requirements for
Lamination Extruder Trainee:
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Able to work well in a team and be comfortable regularly communicating with team members throughout the shift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable standing for long periods (8-10 hours)
- Good attention to detail and focus; color vision must be intact
- Willingness to train across various production functions and support team success
- Good reading ability and basic math skills, including the ability to read blueprints and other manufacturing documentation
- Good problem resolution skills with the ability to offer solutions for basic issues encountered
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to log into systems and enter data accurately Benefits (Upon Hire):
