Job Description
Position Overview:
The Land Survey Technician supports field surveying operations for a variety of civil engineering and land development projects. This role involves outdoor fieldwork with opportunities for training and advancement. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys working outdoors year-round as part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities Perform field survey work including construction staking, boundary surveys, and topographic data collection Support survey crews and project teams in completing accurate and timely work Interact with clients and project stakeholders as needed Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures during field operations Qualifications Prior experience in land surveying, construction, or CAD preferred but not required Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic, organization, and attention to detail Valid driver's license with satisfactory motor vehicle record Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Benefits Health, vision, and dental insurance Life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution Tuition reimbursement Flexible work schedule Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays Professional organization membershipsSimilar jobs in Kalamazoo, MI
