Job Summary:

• Assist Landscape Design Manager with all tasks associated with the designing, estimating and selling of residential and commercial landscape projects.
• This position includes scheduling, customer follow-ups and daily reports.
• Includes sites visits; setting up landscape/hardscape projects as needed.
• Ensuring that customers are completely satisfied through effective communication, relationship building and regular site visits.

Responsibilities:

• Generating base plans and designs in a landscape design software (Dynascape).
• Assist in generating estimates, budgets, and proposals
• Field measurements and pre-construction site photos.
• Create and process change orders.
• Assist with construction budgets and job costing.
• Research materials and techniques as required.
• Assisting with ideas and design concepts.
• Communicate with clients, sub-contractors, vendor, and co-workers promptly and courteously.
• Always represent the company's best interest and maintain the highest level of integrity.
• Dress, speak, and act as a professional.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 -3 years of residential landscape construction and 1 year of landscape design or estimating experience.
• Highly Motivated and self-starter.
• Must have good problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Thorough knowledge of landscape materials and processes.
• Strong plant knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Must be well versed in computer aided design software (Dynascape)
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Willingness to assist as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in landscape design or landscape architecture.
• Estimating and job costing experience
• Horticulture background
