Responsibilities Assist with landscape planting and construction to ensure healthy, attractive outdoor spaces. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as digging and installing landscape features. Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs. Use equipment such as excavators and skid steers when needed for site preparation or seasonal cleanup. Follow safety protocols consistently while working with machinery like the excavator or power tools to prevent accidents. Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to support healthy growth and safety. Contribute to general site cleanup and maintenance to ensure a tidy work environment and high-quality finished projects. Experience Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners. Basic mechanical knowledge helps in maintaining tools and equipment effectively. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting is advantageous.
