Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors across various projects, from landscape maintenance to hardscape installation. You will be an essential part of transforming landscapes, ensuring they thrive and look their best. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features like walkways or retaining walls. Perform tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth. Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance. Help with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing landscapes to ensure year-round beauty and safety. Contribute to gardening efforts by planting flowers, shrubs, and maintaining beds to enhance aesthetic appeal. Qualifications Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for eager learners. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with land management equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and responsibly. Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary. Knowledge of horticulture principles, lawn care techniques, and landscape maintenance practices is advantageous. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards. A valid driver's license is required depending on project needs.
