Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as digging, trenching, and installing irrigation systems Support tree care activities including trimming, planting, and removal with proper techniques and safety procedures Maintain lawns and gardens through mowing, fertilizing, watering, and pest control efforts Help install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible Conduct routine landscape upkeep including irrigation system checks, soil preparation, and general site cleanup Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and power tools effectively Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows Ability to operate construction machinery like excavators safely when needed for larger projects Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and planting for healthy growth Understanding of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting Strong work ethic with attention to detail in landscape installation and maintenance tasks Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards This role offers an exciting chance to grow your skills in landscaping while contributing to vibrant outdoor environments.
