Job Description
Concrete Operations Manager Pay:
Starting at $80,000/yearEarning Potential:
$100K•125K+ with year-end profit sharingSchedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM•4:00 PM Occasional Saturdays as needed We are seeking an experienced Concrete Operations Manager to oversee and drive the success of multiple concrete installation projects. This role is critical in ensuring jobs are completed on time, on budget, and at the highest level of quality. Project Planning & Scheduling Oversee multiple concrete projects including flatwork, foundations, and walls Develop and manage schedules to ensure deadlines are met Allocate crews, equipment, and materials efficiently Proactively adjust plans to account for weather, inspections, and delays Crew & Field Leadership Supervise foremen and field crews across job sites Ensure proper crew size and skill alignment Conduct site visits to monitor progress and performance Train and develop employees while enforcing accountability Quality & Safety Oversight Ensure all work meets company and customer standards Oversee proper installation practices from prep to finish Conduct final walkthroughs and resolve any issues Enforce OSHA standards and lead safety meetings Materials & Equipment Coordination Manage ordering and scheduling of concrete, rebar, and materials Coordinate with suppliers and dispatch for timely deliveries Oversee equipment usage and maintenance Control waste and reduce unnecessary costs Budget & Cost Control Track labor, material, and equipment costs Compare actual vs. estimated budgets and identify variances Implement cost-saving strategies and improve efficiency Client & Project Communication Serve as the main point of contact during project execution Provide updates on progress, timelines, and delays Coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, and other trades Pre-Construction & Execution Review plans, specs, and scope prior to project kickoff Participate in pre-construction meetings Ensure smooth handoff from estimating to operations Reporting & Process Improvement Maintain job reports, production tracking, and documentation Monitor KPIs and crew performance Improve processes, scheduling, and operational efficiency Implement tools and systems to help scale operationsWhat We're Looking For:
