Landscape Technician

Job Summary Join our dynamic landscape team as a Landscape Technician and bring outdoor spaces to life! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes through skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. Your work will contribute to creating beautiful, functional, and sustainable environments that delight clients and elevate community spaces. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces. Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, lawnmowers, and excavators safely and efficiently. Conduct lawn care activities like aeration, fertilization, weed control, and irrigation system installation or repair to promote lush growth. Execute hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape features with precision. Provide tree care services such as trimming, pruning, planting, and removal using proper techniques to ensure safety and health of trees. Assist with snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients. Support landscape construction projects by preparing sites, installing plants, maintaining irrigation systems, and performing routine maintenance tasks. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience operating landscaping machinery and tools. Expertise in lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and pest management. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques covering plant health care, pruning, planting, and soil management. Proficiency with hand tools (shovels, pruners), power tools (trimmers, blowers), and heavy equipment such as excavators. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient water use. Understanding of horticulture principles related to gardening, tree care (trimming/removal), and hardscape installation. Ability to perform snow plowing operations safely during winter months while maintaining a high standard of quality work.
