Job Description

Veteran Lawn & Landscape is looking for hard-working, reliable individuals to join our team for the 2026 season. We pride ourselves on a science-based approach to landscaping, focusing on precision, soil health, and high-quality results for our clients throughout the Bitterroot Valley. If you enjoy working outdoors, physical activity, and seeing the immediate results of a day's hard work, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Lawn Maintenance:
Perform professional mowing, string trimming, edging, and blowing of residential and commercial properties as needed.
Landscape Installation:
Assist with garden overhauls, including planting, mulching, and hardscape projects such as flagstone and drainage installations.
Property Cleanup:
Efficiently remove debris, leaves, and brush to maintain site aesthetics and health.
Equipment Care:
Operate and perform basic daily maintenance on commercial-grade mowers, trimmers, and power tools.
Team Collaboration:
Follow directions from the Crew Manager and Lead Technicians to ensure projects are completed on schedule and up to company standards.
Critical Competencies Autonomous Performance:
You will be expected to manage your workflow efficiently. We value team members who can stay on task without constant direct supervision and who take pride in "owning" their assigned section of a project.
Proactive Problem Solving:
You should be able to identify minor issues on-site—such as a clogged irrigation head or a hidden drainage problem—and either resolve it using sound judgment or communicate it clearly to the manager for a solution.
Qualifications & Requirements Reliability:
Must have dependable transportation to Stevensville and arrive on time.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to work 8-10 hours a day outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.) and lift at least 50 lbs consistently. Attention to
Detail:
A commitment to clean edges, straight lines, and leaving a job site cleaner than you found it.
Professionalism:
Respectful communication with teammates and clients.
Experience:
Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic.
Pay:
$15.00 - $23.00 per hour
