Job Title:
Landscape Technician Company Overview Sterling Landscape is a leading landscape design and maintenance company dedicated to creating beautiful outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients. Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of outdoor landscapes, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our company.
Responsibilities:
Landscape Installation:
Assist with the installation of landscape elements, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and sod, as well as laying mulch, gravel, and other ground covers.
Hardscape Construction:
Participate in the construction of hardscape features such as decks, patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative stone elements, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
Irrigation Installation and Maintenance:
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, and timers, to ensure proper hydration and health of plantings.
Lawn Care and Maintenance:
Perform mowing, edging, weeding, fertilizing, and pest control activities to maintain healthy and attractive lawns and turf areas.
Seasonal Clean-Up:
Conduct seasonal clean-up tasks such as leaf removal, pruning, and debris removal to keep landscapes looking tidy and well-maintained year-round.
Equipment Operation:
Operate a variety of landscape equipment and machinery, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small power tools, safely and efficiently.
Client Interaction:
Communicate professionally with clients to address questions, concerns, and special requests, and provide friendly and knowledgeable service at all times.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your teammates, and our clients.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred, but not required. Basic knowledge of plants, trees, and landscaping techniques. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
