The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for horticulture and landscaping, with practical experience in landscape maintenance and construction. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, applying a range of skills to create and sustain beautiful, functional landscapes. Responsibilities Perform routine landscape maintenance including pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure high-quality outdoor spaces. Operate various power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and hedgers safely and efficiently. Use hand tools for planting, raking, edging, and general garden care tasks. Assist with construction activities such as installing features, pathways, hardscapes and garden beds. Maintain irrigation systems, including installation, repairs, and adjustments to ensure optimal water distribution. Conduct routine equipment maintenance to ensure tools and machinery are in good working order. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping projects effectively. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during operations. Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and irrigation systems. Proficiency with hand tools used in gardening and construction tasks. Strong understanding of gardening principles and horticultural practices. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Good organizational skills with attention to detail in executing landscape projects. Ability to work independently or as part of a team effectively.
