In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing beautiful landscapes that inspire and delight. From lawn care to intricate hardscape projects, your skills will transform outdoor environments into vibrant, functional spaces. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your landscaping talents, and contribute to community beautification efforts. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush, healthy turf. Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, planting, and shrubbery care. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, edging, trimming, and other landscaping activities. Construct and install hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds using appropriate materials. Use equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery for larger landscaping projects or site preparation. Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues related to plant health or structural integrity and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.

Skills preferred:

Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools including power tools and hand tools. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Skilled in the use of excavation machinery like excavators for site preparation or hardscape installation. Knowledge of tree care techniques such as pruning, trimming, and health assessment. Familiarity with construction principles related to hardscape features like patios or retaining walls.
