Landscaper

PRESS Restaurant and Under-Study are seeking a talented and dedicated Gardener / Landscaper to join our team. This position will focus on maintaining and enhancing the beauty, health, and functionality of the grounds, gardens, and outdoor spaces across both properties while also assisting with seasonal work on our farm in Yountville. This role is an important part of creating welcoming and inspiring environments for our guests, team members, and community through thoughtful landscape care and farm support. Responsibilities Maintain the landscaping, gardens, planters, pathways, and outdoor guest areas at both PRESS and Under-Study. Plant, prune, water, fertilize, and care for flowers, herbs, vegetables, trees, and shrubs. Monitor sprinkler systems and ensure proper watering schedules are maintained. Assist with seasonal planting, soil preparation, composting, harvesting, and general farm upkeep. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all outdoor spaces, storage areas, and gardening equipment. Identify and address plant health issues, weeds, pests, and landscape maintenance needs. Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely and responsibly. Assist with setup and upkeep of outdoor dining, event, and patio spaces as needed. Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to support seasonal produce and herb programs. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards and procedures. Requirements Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, farming, or property maintenance preferred. Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, seasonal planting, and general landscape maintenance. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor including lifting, bending, digging, and carrying. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining beautiful, organized spaces. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently manage daily tasks. Positive attitude and willingness to support multiple departments and properties as needed. Passion for hospitality, sustainability, agriculture, and high-quality guest experiences.
