Landscaper/Groundskeeper

Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure healthy, lush lawns. Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like walkways and patios. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, pruning, trimming, and general groundskeeping tasks. Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows during seasonal changes to support construction projects or winter maintenance. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas. Assist with gardening tasks by planting new greenery, mulching beds, and maintaining overall garden health. Support construction projects involving landscape installation or hardscape features to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Respond promptly to seasonal needs such as snow plowing or storm cleanup to keep grounds safe and accessible. Requirements Proven experience with landscaping or groundskeeping work is preferred; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, lawn equipment, excavators, and irrigation systems is highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, snow plows, and other landscaping machinery safely. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor for extended periods. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job site locations; experience with tree trimming or gardening is beneficial.
