Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the skills necessary to maintain and enhance various landscapes. This role involves physical labor and requires attention to detail, as well as a commitment to quality workmanship. The Landscape Laborer will work on diverse projects, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks, including planting and mulching. Perform hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct groundskeeping duties to maintain the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. Assist in tree care activities, including tree trimming and removal as needed. Maintain equipment by ensuring it is clean, serviced, and in good working condition. Dig trenches for planting or irrigation systems while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete landscape maintenance tasks on schedule. Follow instructions from supervisors regarding project specifications and timelines. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in landscaping. Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Knowledge of groundskeeping practices and tree care techniques is a plus.
