! Family owned mowing company. You will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes through expert mowing, trimming, planting, and general site upkeep. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply your mechanical skills, and contribute to creating inviting environments Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently to maintain lawns and gardens. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to enhance outdoor spaces. Use equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems to support larger construction or landscape projects. Conduct tree care activities like trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety. Assist with hardscape installations including pathways, patios, or retaining walls as needed. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris, leaves, and waste to ensure a tidy environment. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling machinery and tools to prevent accidents or injuries. Requirements Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment, power tools, and hand tools. Experience with lawn care practices such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including planting, pruning, irrigation setup, and snow plowing during winter months. Familiarity with landscaping design principles and horticulture best practices. Ability to operate equipment like excavators or other construction machinery when needed. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
