TITLE:

Language Documentation Analyst

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in English Language or Linguistics required.

JOB DUTIES

Utilize highly specialized knowledge of English Language and Linguistics to analyze and prepare bilingual documentation, ensuring linguistic accuracy, consistency, and fidelity to the original meaning, tone, and context of source materials; Review, compare, and verify translated documents against original texts to confirm completeness, terminology consistency, and adherence to established language standards; Compile, maintain, and update bilingual glossaries and terminology references used in translations, including industry-specific, procedural, and technical vocabulary, e.g., academic, professional, governmental, technical, business, and administrative contents; Conduct detailed linguistic analysis to identify ambiguities, inconsistencies, and contextual conflicts in translated materials and recommend appropriate language adjustments to resolve these issues; Utilize reference materials, translation tools, and language databases to support accurate documentation analysis and terminology validation throughout the translation process; Apply professional writing and editing skills to proofread and revise documents as part of the quality control process, ensuring grammatical correctness, stylistic coherence, language accuracy across revisions, and compliance with standardized documentation formats; Coordinate with clients to clarify document context and formatting requirements in detail to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of the translated documentation; and Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive documents of clients at all times, in accordance with established information protection standards and regulations.

SALARY:

$49,712 per year.
