Large Equipment Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Large Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery which includes Loaders, Shovels and Forklifts to support our wood chip mill. Ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Responsibilities Stack logs in storage Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance. Assist in excavation tasks, and feeding logs into the chipper Support mill operations by safely maneuvering equipment around the job site while adhering to safety protocols. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others. Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation hours, maintenance needs, and project progress updates. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment and machinery operation. Proven ability to know different log species. Valid Driver's license. Knowledge of heavy equipment is highly desirable. Ability to perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Physical stamina and agility to operate machinery safely over long periods in varying weather conditions. Join us in building the future!
