This is a hands-on role for someone with strong press setup experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. If you have experience with complex tooling, troubleshooting press operations, and maintaining high-quality production standards, this could be a great opportunity to take the next step in your career. Responsibilities Set up and operate large presses efficiently to meet production and quality goals Work with complex tooling including progressive dies, forms, and draws Read and interpret blueprints, routings, and job instructions Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on press and die issues Coordinate with maintenance and tool room teams on repairs and improvements Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications Stage materials and prepare jobs for production runs Maintain accurate production and setup records Train and mentor Level I & II Set-Up Operators Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Qualifications 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication, stamping, or press operations Strong knowledge of press setup and operation Ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and tooling issues Strong attention to detail and quality standards Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently under production deadlines High school diploma or GED preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment Why Join?
