Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines (fiber/CO2) Operate traditional sheet metal equipment, including press brakes, shears, punches, and saws Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders Select proper materials, tooling, and machine settings for each job Perform first-article and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other fabrication team members Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred 2+ years experience in sheet metal fabrication or laser operation (preferred) Experience with CNC laser cutting machines (Trumpf, Bystronic, Mazak, Amada, or similar) Working knowledge of press brakes and traditional sheet metal equipment Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances Familiarity with basic CAD/CAM software is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
