5:00am - 3:15pm, Monday through Thursday (overtime hours as needed)Job Summary:
The Laser Beds Lead is responsible for leading, monitoring, and supervising a group of employees to achieve organizational goals all while working alongside the team. This role involves motivating and inspiring the team to achieve KPI goals, 5S strategies all while assigning tasks, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.Responsibilities:
Safely lift and carry parts to your workstation, operate a hoist when necessary Use a mallet, hammer, or chisel to free parts from the sheet metal Inspect metal parts for burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized deburring equipment to smooth edges and surfaces Ensure all parts meet quality control specifications and tolerances Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or technical drawings Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet production deadlines Maintain a clean and organized work area, including taking cardboard to the assigned disposal area Assign tasks and communicate clear instructions to team members Train team members to enhance their skills and performance Help define and set goals for the team and monitor progress towards achieving company KPI goals Create and administer performance reviews to team members Create an inspiring and motivating environment for the team Organize work and ensure efficient workflow utilizing 5S principles Additional duties as assignedQualifications:
High school diploma or GED Ability to work with small tools and handle precision work Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to lift 50lbs Great work ethic and attendance Excellent problem-solving abilities Flexibility and adaptability Continuous improvement mindset Ability to use various computer system Deadline for internal applications is the end of the day on Friday, May 15th.Similar remote jobs
