Laser Cutter Operator

Position:

Wearparts Tillage Tools is now accepting applications for a skilled laser cutter operator with a positive attitude to join our team. It will require the use of laser equipment for cutting tillage replacement parts. Experience in setting up, programming and operating a laser equipment is preferred, but not required. This position involves the use of potentially dangerous equipment; it is important health and safety requirements are met and ensure responsibility is taken for the security of the warehouse and stock.

Primary Duties:

Read drawings, and take measurements to plan layout and procedure Program and Operate Laser Equipment Understand the basics of laser mechanics to ensure safe and uniform operation Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Ensure safe operation of the work area including meeting standards for sanitation, maintenance, security and housekeeping Other duties as required and assigned

Requirements:

Experience with Lasers is preferred Experience with programming (plasma table, robots, lasers, etc.) is a plus! Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Positive "can-do" attitude Knowledge of relative safety standards
