Job Description

Join the Control Assemblies Team - Shape the Future of Automation! Control Assemblies is seeking a talented Advanced Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gaylord, MN. The Laser Engraver Technician is responsible for operating laser engraving equipment to mark, cut, etch materials according to production specifications. This role ensures high-quality output while maintaining safety and efficiency standards in a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
Set up and operate laser engraving machines for production runs. Interpret schematics, CAD files, and work orders to determine engraving specifications. Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment. Monitor inventory of engraving materials and report shortages. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues. Maintain accurate production records and logs. Follow all safety protocols and manufacturing procedures.
What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. 1-2 years of experience operating laser engraving or CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and quality. Basic computer skills; familiarity with design software (e.g., CorelDRAW, AutoCAD) is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
