Laser Technician

In this role, the qualified candidate will perform Laser Inspection in support of product conformance and generate the required inspection data packages. Work with Customer Representatives (source inspectors) in presenting / verifying conformance prior to delivery. Assist manufacturing in verifying assembly. The Laser inspector shall contribute to product conformity as apart to their daily job function and shall contribute to product safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support AS procedures and continuous improvement efforts. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Generate inspection reports. Perform Laser/ mechanical and visual inspection on product utilizing both engineering data and electronic models. Present product and data packages to Customer source inspectors. Work with Production to support inspection schedules. Any other duties as assigned. Must understand how customer products are impacted in the event of failure

KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

Detail oriented, extremely organized, must possess excellent communication skills. Excellent blue print/ Model interpretation skills. Working knowledge of Customer requirements / specifications. Working knowledge of Master Cam & VERISURF software. Working knowledge of Laser equipment utilizing

VERISURF.

Working knowledge of Catia modeling software. Direct communication with internal customers. Know the QMS basic system of reporting, record keeping and follow instructions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school graduate or equivalent in work experience. Three (3) + years' experience in inspecting machine parts and assemblies using including LASER Technology & Practices. Three (3) + years' experience using Laser Inspection. Three (3) + years' experience working with Customer Source Inspectors.

ITAR REQUIREMENTS
