Part Time Laundry Attendant:
This position is the principal point of contact in Facilities/Housekeeping for members and department laundry and overall cleanliness of laundry room and other common areas.
Schedule:
25 hours/week, Monday-Friday 2nd shift - 4pm-9pm.

Laundry Attendant:
Represents the campus in a positive manner while creating an environment that fosters respect and courtesy for members and team members alike. Works within the community procedures and processes to promote safety and the well-being of all. Upholds the Company's Guiding Principles and Mission Statement. Maintains HIPPA standards and regards all medical or healthcare information pertaining to members and team members as confidential. Responsible for the cleaning of all linens in department. Keeps laundry room clean and sanitized including laundry equipment. Collects and empties soiled linen containers. Returns empty containers to proper areas. Separates linens according to proper procedures. Changes laundry containers and keeps inventory of all laundry chemicals. Checks and cleans lint from dryer filters according to procedure and performs PM on machines as necessary to prevent fire hazards. Folds clean clothes and linens and delivers to proper destinations. Cleans laundry area at end of each shift including but not limited to empty trash, sweep and mop floor and clean lint, grime and other accumulation from the machines. Assists with housekeeping in Skilled Nursing area as requested in the event of illness, job vacancies, etc. Uses cleaning chemicals and supplies properly. Other duties as assigned. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Education High school graduation or GED required. Experience Two years' experience in a similar housekeeping position desired
Skills:
Ability to work with both minimal and close supervision and teamwork. Strong customer service skills and orientation to older adults. Ability to work under time-sensitive or stressful situations. Assist with resident evacuations, if ever required. Respond to medical emergencies on rare occasions. All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
