Child Support Enforcement Officer

Goodhue County Health & Human Services is seeking qualified applicants for a Child Support Enforcement Officer who ensures that children in non-intact families receive court-ordered financial and medical support from their non-custodial parent(s). Knowledge of interviewing techniques and methods for obtaining and communicating information. Assesses public assistance and non-public assistance child support applications for appropriate agency actions, such as enforcement of a court order for support or establishment of support and/or paternity. Ability to establish and maintain thorough case files in compliance with state and federal laws, both for on-going case work and for audit process. Maintains a high level of confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries. Ability to perform detailed work with speed and accuracy. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED plus 3 years of increasingly responsible clerical experience or experience working with the public. Compensation and Benefits County employees receive competitive pay and benefit offering.
