Job Description
Certified Recovery Specialist Warren, PA, USA $14.63 per hour Full Time Comprehensive Benefits Package Now offering DailyPay; A financial wellness platform that enables employees to access earned wages before payday. SUMMARY The Certified Recovery Specialist will facilitate peer to peer services which allows patients' with substance use disorders to establish and manage their recovery. This will be accomplished through establishing and maintaining healthy and non-exploitive relationships with patients at all times as well as exploring motivations for recovery, devising relapse prevention plans, and establishing, utilizing and networking with local resources for those in need.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position requires someone who has: 1. A minimum of 18 months of uninterrupted abstinence 2. A valid Driver's License 3. Successful completion of a PCB (Pennsylvania Certification Board) approved Certified Recovery Specialist training program and examination within six (6) months of employment date. 4. Understanding of addiction, relapse, and recovery with an ability to display insight relative to the recovery process 5. Demonstrated an understanding of and maintain a positive relationships with community resources to support those in recovery. 6. Understanding and demonstrating understanding of time management, organization, and documentation skills. 7. The ability to show initiative and work independently, while being open to accepting direction and feedback from supervisor. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE 1.
