Job Summary:

Primary duties include enforcing applicable city ordinances and state laws, and other duties assigned by supervisor. This is a full-time permanent hourly position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for Enforcing City Ordinances and State Laws concerning the quarantine control, impoundment, welfare, licensing of animals. Issue municipal citations to Violators. Responding to animal complaints. Capturing and handling stray animals. Conducting investigations of animal city. Perform other duties and assigned by supervisor.

Education and Requirements:

Must have High School Diploma or GED Able to obtain the following license for employment: Basic Animal Control Officer Certification. Must have a valid Texas driver license Class C with satisfactory driving record Must be bilingual English and Spanish. Applicant must pass the following: thorough background check (employment & criminal), pre-employment drug test etc.

Salary:

Salary will commensurate with experience.
