Must be persistent, disciplined, and focused on converting screened opportunities into completed deals. Key responsibilities Receive and review pre‑qualified deal packages from the intake specialist; confirm completeness and identify any gaps. Serve as the dedicated intermediary between the acquisition team (buyer) and sellers; represent buyer interests while aligning both parties to progress deals to closing. Conduct targeted discovery calls only when needed to clarify intake data; avoid redoing full qualification.
Lead negotiations:
present offers, manage counteroffers, handle objections, and drive timely decisions. Coordinate due diligence and documentation; manage milestone tracking in CRM through closing. Proactively re‑engage, rescue, and resurrect stalled or fallen deals — diagnose causes, propose remediation plans, and execute re‑engagement steps. Maintain a tight follow‑up cadence; persistently chase information, signatures, and decisions until resolution. Use and maintain standardized templates, scripts, offer decks, and checklists for negotiation and closing. Log all interactions, recordings, and outcomes in CRM; use call‑tracking and recordings for quality and coaching. Collaborate with acquisition analysts, legal/compliance, and CRM/automation specialists for deal support and reporting. Meet KPIs tied to pipeline conversion and deal outcomes. Required skills & experience Proven experience in business brokerage, M&A deal execution, transaction mediation, or equivalent. Strong negotiation, relationship management, and closing skills. Highly persistent and disciplined — proactive follow-up, comfortable with repetitive outreach and escalation to sustain momentum on long timelines. Comfortable working from well-prepared intake materials and performing focused clarifying calls. Familiar with CRM workflows, call‑tracking, and automation tools; able to work with automation specialists. Results-oriented, organized, and compliance-aware. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Compensationl Finder's fee or transaction bonus on closed acquisitions. Regular performance reviews; pay increases tied to training, quality metrics, and KPI achievement. Success profile A disciplined, persistent closer who converts screened opportunities into acquisitions efficiently, minimizes rework on intake, reliably revives stalled deals, and hits measurable transaction outcomes.
