Job Description

Looking for an opportunity to grow in the field of mediation? Join our team-oriented, friendly, and professional staff at the Center for Conflict Resolution and develop your practice in alternative dispute resolution.
The Organization :
The Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) is an independent, not-for-profit organization, whose funding comes from public and private sources. CCR provides mediation services to the Chicago area, focusing on people of limited means, nonprofits, and institutions supporting the public and community interest. CCR's operations are run by a staff of twenty-seven and more than 120 volunteer mediators. For more information about the organization, see www.ccrchicago.org
Position Responsibilities :
Coordinate and schedule mediation sessions virtually and at CCR's office. Manage mediation case records, including extensive data entry. Attend Cook County court calls in person on a weekly basis. Maintain and develop relationships with court personnel. Telephone and e-mail communication with clients and referral partners about CCR's services. Brief, coach, and debrief mediators during cases. Become certified as a CCR mediator and mediate as needed.
Qualifications :
The qualified candidate must: Be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently; Possess excellent communication and organizational skills; Have seasoned computer skills (Slack, Salesforce, Zoom, Microsoft Office); Be located in the Chicagoland area and able to work both in person (3 days/week) throughout Cook County and remotely (including occasional nights and weekends); and Be fluent in Spanish and English.
