Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Court Officer to uphold the integrity and safety of judicial proceedings and court facilities. As a Court Officer, you will serve as a vital link between the judiciary, law enforcement, and the public, ensuring that court operations run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. Your role will involve maintaining order within courtrooms, providing security for all participants, and supporting the administration of justice with professionalism and confidence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the legal system while utilizing your leadership skills and commitment to public safety. Duties Maintain order and decorum within courtrooms by monitoring proceedings and intervening when necessary to prevent disruptions Conduct thorough security screenings of all individuals entering the court premises, including visitors, attorneys, defendants, and staff Respond swiftly to emergencies or disturbances by implementing conflict management protocols and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services Escort high-profile or potentially dangerous individuals within the courthouse to ensure safety for all parties involved Perform surveillance activities around court facilities to deter criminal activity and ensure security protocols are upheld Qualifications Preferred experience in law enforcement, security, military service, or related fields with a strong understanding of criminal investigation technique Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent conflict management skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism at all times Join us as a Court Officer and be part of a team committed to justice, safety, and service. Pay:
$20.63 - $25.34 per hour
