Core Responsibilities Resident Supervision :

Accompany and supervise residents in designated indoor or outdoor smoking areas during scheduled breaks.

Safety & Hazard Mitigation :

Provide and light cigarettes/pipes for residents; residents are typically not permitted to carry their own lighters or smoking materials. Remove and replace oxygen tanks before and after residents smoke to prevent fire hazards. Fit "hazardous smokers" (e.g., those with tremors) with smoking aprons to prevent burns from falling ashes.
