Starting at $5,000 Position Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Director of Sterile Processing for an exciting job in Asheville, North Carolina. Key Responsibilities Lead overall operations of the Sterile Processing department Ensure adherence to infection prevention and sterile processing standards Oversee quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives Manage staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and professional development Partner with perioperative and clinical leadership teams across service lines Drive efficiency and standardization of workflows Maintain readiness for regulatory and accreditation inspections Support budgeting, resource allocation, and cost management Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and patient safety Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field OR Completion of a two-year Surgical Technology program Certifications Current CSPDT or CRCST certification required IAHCSMM certification required Experience Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Central Sterile Processing Acute care hospital experience required Strong knowledge of: Operating room instrumentation and surgical equipment Aseptic technique and infection prevention standards Sterile processing workflows and compliance regulations Proven experience leading large teams in a complex healthcare environment strongly preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
