Minimum Qualification:

High school diploma/GED, Georgia P.O.S.T. certification, and one (1) year of experience required at the lower-level Correctional Officer 1 (PSP060) or position equivalent.

Preferred Qualification:

One year of full-time experience as a uniformed officer in a correctional setting. Or completion of at least an associate's degree in criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or a directly related field.
