Moultrie, GA The Role:
Beyond the Badge Most people think they know what corrections looks like. At Colquitt County Prison, we do things differently. We are a small, low-security facility housing approximately 190 inmates, which means we operate on structure, teamwork, and community impact. As a Peace Officer here, you aren't just a supervisor; you are a professional responsible for maintaining a safe environment that prepares individuals for successful reintegration. You will lead community work assignments across the county, seeing firsthand the positive change that structured discipline and hard work can bring to our local area. Why Choose Colquitt County? We offer the stability of a county career with the atmosphere of a tight-knit team.
Small-Scale Operations:
A smaller inmate population allows for better communication, stronger security control, and a more manageable work environment.
Professional Growth:
No prior experience is required. We don't just hire; we train. We are looking for the right mindset—we can teach the rest.
