You will be responsible for supervising inmates, enforcing rules and regulations, and ensuring a safe environment for both staff and inmates. This position requires strong conflict management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Your duties will include monitoring inmate behavior, conducting searches, and preparing reports on incidents. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor inmate activities within the facility to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to maintain security and safety standards. Utilize CCTV systems to monitor inmate movements and activities effectively. Respond to emergencies and disturbances, employing conflict management techniques as necessary. Administer first aid and CPR in emergency situations when required. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, inmate behavior, and other relevant observations. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies. Maintain accurate records of inmate interactions and facility operations. Experience Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with security protocols and practices within correctional facilities is an asset. Training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong report writing skills are essential for documenting incidents accurately. Experience in conflict management will be beneficial in handling challenging situations effectively.
