Job Description

Summary Under the command of the Chief Deputy, Captain and direct supervision of a Lieutenant or Sergeant - Corrections Officers perform a variety of duties to ensure safety and security of the Calhoun County Correctional Facility Complex. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include supervision and control of inmates within the housing units, corridors and work areas at the Calhoun County Correctional Center. Enforces rules of conduct, assists in averting riots and escapes through routine inspections. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or GED No Felony convictions Must possess a valid Michigan Driver's License Must be a US Citizen Ability to comply with all Michigan Sheriff's Coordinating and Training Council (MSCTC) standards.
