Job Description
Correctional Officer 1915 W Arrow St, Marshall, MO 65340 $17 an hour - Full-time $17 an hour - Full-time Summary As a Correctional Officer, you will be essential in maintaining safety and security within the Saline County Jail. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensuring the safety and security of inmates, staff members and approved program providers supervision of inmates transportation of inmates to courts, medical facilities, etc. as assigned following medical protocols as set forth by the facility medical contractor and assuring inmates have medical attention when required documentation of inmate activities, reporting inmate regulation violations, health concerns, etc. booking and releasing inmates security of inmate property cell searches supervision of video visitation monitoring jail surveillance monitoring kiosk activity to include messaging and commissary other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills Strong security and conflict management skill Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
