Job Description

Job Summary As a Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining order within correctional facilities and overseeing the safety and security of inmates and staff. Responsibilities
  • Monitor and supervise inmate activities to prevent disturbances and escapes
  • Conduct regular inspections of cells, common areas, and inmate belongings
  • Enforce facility rules and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents within the facility promptly
  • Escort inmates within the facility or during transport
  • Document all activities, incidents, and behavior observations in detailed reports
