Job Description

MUST HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE MUST BE 18 OR OVER MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED MUST PASS DRUG TEST MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK CLEET AVAILABILITY
Responsible for custody and control of inmates; security of detention center; physical movement of inmates; and all inmate's needs. Searches and escorts all inmates to assigned housing units. Conducts shakedowns and inspections of inmate housing units as needed. Enforces contraband control and inmate rules. Observes inmates and inmate workers. Conducts checks and searches, if necessary, of visitors entering facility. Feeds inmates. Assigns work to and supervises inmate workers. Ensures that all inmates have routine access to showers. Reports any criminal intelligence to supervisor. Safeguards keys. Performs others duties as assigned.
