Job Summary:

Requirements:

• 21 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Obtain a DPSST Corrections within one year
• Obtain and maintain a valid Oregon Driver's License; must have acceptable driving record.

Additional Info:

• Pass a Background Check & Psychological Evaluation
• Applicants must pass a medical exam and physical agility test

Job Duties:

• Conduct daily operation of the facility ensuring the safety and security of the inmates, staff, and the public
• Provide supervision of all inmates
• Enforce rules and maintain order of the correctional facility and/or courthouse
• Complete inmate intake, releases, and inmate work crews in and out of the facility
• Compose and processes reports
• Communicate professionally with multiple courts, District Attorney's, law enforcement, inmates and the public
• Provide Supervision of Adults in Custody
• Maintain Safety and Security of the Facility
• Provide Transportation of Adults in Custody
• Conduct Investigations
• Respond to Emergency Events
• Control Movement and Regulate Facility Access
• Conduct Searches
• Supervise Program Services
• Conduct Booking and Release of Adults in Custody
• Conduct Fingerprinting Services to the

Public Hours:

• Rotating 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay:

• To be determined
• Shift differential
