Correctional Officer:

Maintain Security & Order:

Ensure a safe and secure environment by enforcing rules, conducting inspections for contraband, and preventing disorder.

Guidance & Mentorship:

Provide nonprofessional counseling, advice, and guidance to residents, assisting them with their adjustment to the correctional environment and encouraging participation in programs.

Supervision & Management:

Oversee resident activities including work details, meals, recreation, and religious or educational programs.

Professional Conduct:

Perform duties in a highly structured, professional environment with clear policies and procedures, ensuring fairness and impartiality in all interactions.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (or any acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience). Basic knowledge of maintaining order and discipline in a correctional facility.
