  • 6/2/2026 Key Responsibilities The Investigation Division Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations and personnel within an assigned section of the Investigation Division.
This supervisory role incorporates all the purpose and characteristics outlined in the Sergeant job description (11370) and requires the incumbent to be recognized as an expert or highly skilled in investigative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise subordinate personnel, including making hiring recommendations, assigning and delegating workload, and providing training. Monitor and evaluate employee performance, offering guidance, feedback, and leadership to ensure high standards are maintained. Initiate corrective or disciplinary actions as needed to address performance or conduct issues. Provide leadership and direction to an assigned section within the Investigation Division. Perform all duties and responsibilities as described in the Sergeant job description (11370). Qualifications Job requires POST certification; Peace Officer Standards Training in Utah.
