Schedule and Compensation Seasonal positions $18/hour, 24-30 hours per week.

Mandatory overtime:

Up to 10 hours during the week before and after the 4th of July, with open availability required. Silver Shells Property Owners Association is looking for friendly, outgoing, and reliable individuals to join our seasonal team as Courtesy Patrol Officers and Pool/Beach Monitors. Located at the beautiful gulf-front Silver Shells Resort in Destin, FL, this is your chance to work in a stunning setting with an excellent, supportive team. What You'll Be Doing As a Courtesy Patrol Officer and Pool/Beach Monitor, your responsibilities will include: Politely enforcing property, pool, and beach rules. Re-setting pool furniture and ensuring the pool area is tidy. Monitoring wristbands and escorting trespassers off the property. Issuing parking passes and responding to guest and owner complaints. Cleaning bathrooms and emptying trash as needed. Walking through the sand to check wristbands and ensure compliance. Writing reports when necessary. Adapting to changing duties depending on the situation. This is an active, outdoor role requiring extended periods of walking, standing, and bending in various weather conditions, rain or shine. What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements: People-oriented experience: At least 1 year of experience in a service industry or dealing with the public.

Strong communication skills:

You'll be interacting with guests, owners, and management daily.

Conflict resolution skills:

Ability to handle conflicts assertively and calmly.

Physical requirements:

Must be able to walk long distances (including on sand), stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 lbs, and work in heat, cold, and sun.

Professionalism:

Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.

Reliability:

Punctuality and dependability are non-negotiable.

Background check:

Must be able to pass a background check.

Age requirement:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Transportation:

Reliable transportation to work is required.

Language:

Fluency in English is required.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
