This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your exceptional listening skills, keen attention to detail, and strong computer proficiency to support legal, administrative, and professional workflows. As a Transcriptionist, you will contribute to the efficiency of our operations by delivering precise transcriptions that meet high-quality standards, ensuring clarity and accessibility for our clients and team members alike. Duties Transcribe audio and video recordings into clear, accurate written documents using specialized transcription software and Microsoft Word. Review and edit transcripts for grammatical accuracy, proper formatting, and adherence to project guidelines. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information during all transcription activities. Organize and manage multiple transcription projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines consistently. Verify the accuracy of transcribed content by cross-referencing with original recordings when necessary. Collaborate with legal professionals or administrative teams to ensure transcripts meet specific requirements. Keep detailed records of completed work and update project statuses regularly. Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other relevant computer skills for efficient document creation and management. Strong transcription skills with the ability to accurately convert spoken language into written form at a fast typing speed. Excellent listening skills with an eye for detail to capture nuances in speech and ensure transcription accuracy. Prior legal administrative or administrative experience is highly desirable to understand industry-specific terminology and procedures. Familiarity with general computer operations, file management, and digital audio/video formats. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
