Job Description
LBSW, MSW, LMSW, BCJ
preferred English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred We are an experienced Supervised Visitation firm in the Houston/Galveston/Brazoria area focused on improving the lives of children and the stability of all forms of families during times of crisis. We are looking to hire an LBSW, MSW, LMSW, BCJ, or BSCJ for a Contract position, part time, in Lake Jackson, Houston, and Galveston and surrounding areas. This role will be variable hours depending on need, but will include mostly weekend and some evening hours, ideal for a part-time or second job. Our ideal candidate will exhibit integrity, punctuality, empathy, a strong work ethic, and solid moral compass, and preferably be bilingual English/Spanish. Candidates will monitor and supervise individuals with their dependent family members in a safe environment, most often in public. Candidates will be required to deal with emotional situations with a calm and level head, and to help people during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. Candidates will also need to remain objective, focusing on the well-being of children and the elderly. Excellent communication skills, detailed writing/reporting, and conflict resolution skills are needed. Reliability is rewarded.Job type:
Part time, contract Hourly wage: $20/hr-$25/hr for supervised visitation, $35/hr for therapeutic visitation (if qualified with LMSW supervised/LCSW/LPC-A supervised/LPC) Schedule (part-time):- Weekends (may be every weekend, may rotate)

- Bachelors in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or related fields required

Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor visitations between children and their families to ensure safety and compliance with court orders. Conduct observations of family dynamics and provide written reports for each visit, ideally within 24-48 hours Arrive on time (or early!), and communicate effectively with management and clients Mandatory reporter to DFPS Utilize crisis intervention techniques to support families during visits. Maintain accurate documentation of visitations and interactions, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to child welfare standards. Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective visitation plans.Job Types:
