Pay Range Anticipated Hiring Range:

Full Pay Range:
$20.25•$30.50 hourly Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek. In this role, you will assist investigators and other staff or attorneys with researching and acquiring case and client information across all aspects of case representation. Work With Us | Maricopa County, AZ We Require Two years of experience performing office, administrative, and clerical duties in criminal justice or a legal setting Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills High school diploma or GED Other Requirements Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire Job Contributions Provide support to the investigations unit Perform research of a variety of records in person or electronically and obtain copies of relevant information Contact agencies to obtain supporting client information, such as police reports, photographs, Motor Vehicle Department information, discovery, birth certificates, or other pertinent information Conduct jail visits with clients, providing documents and discovery for their review Facilitate duplication of audio and video tapes Copy documents, files, photographs, and police reports as requested Pick up and deliver packages, files, and documents Assist investigative staff as requested and perform other specialized clerical duties as assigned Working Conditions The job requires spending the majority of the time outside of the office setting May require travel to and from job-related locations during the course of a scheduled workday, subject to County policies regarding use of County vehicles and/or private vehicles used on County business May be exposed to traumatic subject matter Requires the ability to handle interruptions, time pressures, multiple and frequently changing tasks, and working in a team environment May require the ability to lift and push, pull, or carry 30 pounds for a distance of 3,000 feet Selection Procedure Consideration will only be given to candidates who submit online applications Candidates will be contacted primarily through email and their Workday online application profile Must pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive Maricopa County is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants.
